Thomas Haney

Services for Thomas J. Haney, 77, of Ada are 1:00 p.m. Thursday, April 9, 2026 at the First Baptist Church of Ada, Revs. Steve Wilburn and Harold Ware will officiate. Burial will follow at Rosedale Cemetery.

Mr. Haney passed away Sunday, April 5, 2026 at the Norman VA Center. He was born December 6, 1948 at Tulsa, OK to Raymond Paul and Bonnie Lou Reed Haney. Mr. Haney served in the U. S. Army.

He married Mollye Jo McGaha June 7, 1968. Mr. Haney was a Social Worker for the Oklahoma Department of Human Services until his retirement.

Survivors include his wife, Mollye, of the home; a son, Luke Haney and wife Angela of Oklahoma City; two brothers, Gary Haney and wife Nancy of Byng and Roy Haney and wife Sheri of Ada; two sisters, Betty Owens and husband Jim of Ada and Connie Scott of Byng; two grandchildren, Jake Haney and Emma Haney; and other loving relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents.
