ADA-Services for Thomas Gray Gilliam, 77, of Ada, are 10:00 a.m. Monday at the Bible Baptist Church, Rev. Harold Holt will officiate. Burial will follow at Rosedale Cemetery.
Mr. Gilliam died Thursday, March 21, 2013 at an Ardmore hospital. He was born July 1, 1935 at Ada, Oklahoma to Edgar Cecil and Mary Elizabeth Perkins Gilliam.
He married Lawanda Joyce Beach on March 2, 1955. Mr. Gilliam was a Supervisor for Pontotoc County District #1 until his retirement. He was a member of the Bible Baptist Church, a Ham Radio operator and a member of the Ada Lodge #119 AF & AM.
Survivors include his wife, Joyce Gilliam, of the home; two daughters, Sharon Nanny and her husband Larry of Wichita, KS, and Lawana Dopson and her husband Ron of Ada; a son, Kevin Gilliam and his wife Terry of Stonewall; a brother, Clifford Gilliam and his wife Denise of Allen; three grandchildren, Jennifer West, Thomas Dopson and Alesha Gilliam; and two great grandchildren, Allison McMahan and Rowan West.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and a son, Tommy Gilliam.
Bearers will be Josh Gilliam, Clifford Gilliam, Henry West, Raymond Townsend, Larry Nanny and Danny Oliver.
