THOMAS GILLIAM
ADA-Graveside services for Thomas Edgar Gilliam, 43, Ada, are 2:00 p.m. Friday at Rosedale Cemetery, Rev. Wayne Rowe will officiate.
Mr. Gilliam died Wednesday, January 9, 2008 at a Shawnee hospital. He was born September 24, 1964 at Ada, Oklahoma to Thomas G. and Lawanda Joyce Beach Gilliam. He attended Byng schools and graduated from Byng High School. He also attended Okmulgee Tech.
Mr. Gilliam was a mechanic until his retirement. He formerly was the Shop Foreman for the City of Ada for several years. He was affiliated with the Bible Baptist Church, a member of the Ada Lodge #119 AF & AM, and was a 32nd degree Mason.
Survivors include his parents, Thomas G. and Lawanda Joyce Gilliam, Ada; two sisters, Lawana J. Dopson and husband Ron, Ada, and Sharon Lynn Nanny and husband Larry, Wichita, Kansas; a brother, Kevin Dewayne Gilliam and wife Terry, Ada; two nieces, Jennifer Gail West, and Alesha Smith Gilliam; a nephew, Thomas R. Dopson; two great nieces, Allison Paige West, and Rowan Michele West; and many friends.
