THELMA LAMB
ADA-Services for Thelma Marie Lamb, 78, Ada, are 10:00 a.m. Thursday at the Criswell Funeral Home Chapel, Rev. Ken Brady will officiate. Burial will follow at Allen Cemetery.
Mrs. Lamb died Sunday, November 1, 2009 at her son's home in Shawnee. She was born July 9, 1931 at Steedman, Oklahoma to Walter and Sally Coffman Horn. She lived in the Ada and Allen area most of her life, graduating from Steedman High School.
She married James Lamb in 1949. He died in 1960. Mrs. Lamb worked in retail sales and with the Asher Public Schools as a school cafeteria worker for 15 years and later retired as a food service employee. She was a member of the Missionary Baptist Church.
Survivors include a daughter, Janice Glover, Anchorage, AK; three sons, Larry Lamb, Asher, Dennis Lamb, Shawnee, and Danny Lamb, Shawnee; 22 grandchildren; and a large number of great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, two sons, James and Ronnie and a daughter, Sandra Spears.
Bearers will be her grandsons, Chad Lamb, Keith Lamb, Shawn Lamb, Dalton Lamb, Danny Ray Lamb, and Dillon Lamb.
