Funeral services for Teddy Lee McWethy, 70, of Ada are 2:00 p.m. Thursday, June 27, 2024 at Criswell Funeral Home Chapel; Pastor Don Stanberry will officiate.   The family will receive friends from 5:00-7:00 p.m. on Wednesday at Criswell Funeral Home.

Mr. McWethy passed away Sunday, June 23, 2024 at OU Medical Center in Oklahoma City.  He was born January 4, 1954 in Salinas, CA to Jewel and Verda Adams McWethy.

On March 15, 1973 he married Lena Chambers.  Mr. McWethy was an oilfield Driller for Johnson and Bates.

Survivors are his wife, Lena McWethy; two sons, Robbie McWethy and Timmy McWethy; one daughter, Jessie Soto; six brothers, James McWethy, Ronnie McWethy, Danny McWethy, Allan McWethy, Johnny McWethy, and Larry McWethy; two sisters, Linda Sipes and Janet McWethy; 21 grandchildren; 23 great grandchildren; one great great grandchild the he cherished; and many nephews and nieces.

He was preceded in death by his parents; one sister, Debbie Barnes; and one great granddaughter, Nevaeh Harley.
