TEDDY KEEFER
KONAWA-Memorial services for Teddy Leon Keefer, 47, Konawa, will be held 10:00 a.m. Thursday at the Chickasaw Community Center in Ada.
Mr. Keefer died Friday, July 12, 2013, at an Oklahoma City hospital. He was born Sept. 28, 1965, to Johnny Grant and Rocky Faye Milam Barker at Wetumka. He graduated from Sasakwa High School and was employed as a welder with the Oklahoma Department of Transportation. Mr. Keefer was one of Jehovah's Witnesses and had served for 12 years in the United States Army, serving in the Persian Gulf.
He and Shirley Coffman were married March 14, 1987.
Survivors include his wife, Shirley, of the home; a son, Stormy Leon Keefer, Ft. Lee, Virginia; one daughter, Micalah Ann Keefer, of the home; his mother, Rocky Avery, Holdenville; three brothers, Tony Keefer, Sasakwa, Troy Keefer, Holdenville, and Travis Barker, Holdenville; four sisters, Theresa Leader, Lamar, Tracey Wiseman, Holdenville, Tricia Barker, Holdenville, Tonya McDaniel, Yeager; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Mr. Keefer was preceded in death by his father, Johnny Grant Barker.
