SUSAN ALDEN BRANTLEY
ADA-Services for Susan Alden Brantley, 70, of Ada, are 10:00 a.m. Friday at the Covenant Cumberland Presbyterian Church, Rev. Linda Snelling will officiate. Burial will follow at Rosedale Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. Thursday at Criswell Funeral Home.
Mrs. Brantley died Tuesday, October 15, 2013 at an Oklahoma City hospital. She was born May 12, 1943 in Bartlesville, Oklahoma to Edmond and Ruth Sullivan Alden. She graduated from Bartlesville High School in 1961 and attended Northeastern State University.
She married Wesley Delbert Brantley, Jr. on August 26, 1967 in Bartlesville. Mrs. Brantley was a homemaker and a member of Covenant Cumberland Presbyterian Church.
Survivors include her husband, Wes Brantley, of the home; a son, Kevin Brantley and his wife Dana of Greensburg, KY; two daughters, Amy Furney and her husband Jack of Tallahassee, FL, and Carey Brantley of Ada; a daughter-in-law, Carla Leathers and her husband Pete of Edmond; her grandchildren, Cathleen and Caden Brantley of Edmond; Kristi and Wesley Brantley of Greensburg, KY; Taylor and Morgan Furney of Tallahassee, FL; and Kaitlyn Leathers of Edmond; and other loving relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and a son, Dr. Kyle Brantley.
