Mary Sue Anderson Worrell passed away on August 26, 2022 after a long battle with Multiple Sclerosis.  Sue was born in Wynnewood Oklahoma on September 30, 1937 to William Earl "Andy" Anderson and Geneva Deatherage Anderson.  She spent much of her childhood in Davis, Oklahoma with her grandparents, aunts, uncles, and family.  She loved making special memories with her cousins there and retained a special bond with several of them until her death.

Sue graduated from Davis High School in 1955 and attended East Central University for one year.  She married Johnnie Worrell Junior in 1958 and lived in Wynnewood, Oklahoma.  In 1960 Sue was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis, a disease of the Central Nervous System.  She lost the ability to walk fluidly and found most physical tasks difficult. Sue moved to Ada, Oklahoma in 1974 to be near her mother and raise her children and remained there until she moved to Lewisville, TX in 2015.  Despite her physical limitations, Sue remained active for much of her life.  Upon moving to Lewisville, she readily hosted potluck dinners and participated in card games and Bible studies.  Much of Sue's foundation was built on her faith in God and her deep study of the Bible that continued until the time of her death.

Upon Sue's death, it was her desire to make an organ donation to the Rocky Mountain MS Center.  This donation will enable research for Multiple Sclerosis.  After living with this debilitating disease most of her life, we celebrate that her donation may bring advancements and treatment for others fighting MS.

Sue loved her family, her friends, and mostly her Lord and Savior.  She leaves behind her daughter Krista Rice, her son Scottie Worrell and his wife Nancy, grandchildren Matthew Rice, Zac Rice, Nathan Rice, and beloved family and friends.
