Stewart Johnson, Sr.

Services for Stewart Lee Johnson, Sr, 81, of Ada, are 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, May 26, 2026, at the Criswell Funeral Home Chapel; Rev. Fred Huffman, Rev. Frank Trent, and Pastor Curtis Compton will officiate. Burial will follow at Johnson Family Cemetery.

Mr. Johnson passed away Thursday, May 21, 2026, in Ada. He was born January 23, 1945, in Ada, to Lee and Frances Perry Johnson. He was the Owner/Operator of Johnson Well Service and S & C Backhoe before retirement.

On March 5, 1995, he married Charolette Ann Blankenship in Gainesville, TX.

Survivors include his son, Stewart Lee Johnson, Jr. and wife, Ruth, of Ada; four daughters, Lea Ann Crabtree and husband, Richard, of Ada, Sherry Saltsgaver and husband, Lloyd, of Indiana, Janet Frazier, of Ada, and Becky Brown and husband, Jim, of Paoli; step-children, Ricky Harjo and wife, Lavonna, of Ada, and Lisa Johnson and husband, Victor, of Sasakwa; grandchildren, Kayla Potter, Kevin Carter, Kelly Carter, Bobby Harell, Krissa Harrell, Andrew Wade, Shakira Finley, Michael Jordan, Angela Jordan, Ryan Johnson, Brandon Johnson, Josh Johnson, Racen Johnson, Tyler Brown, Daniel Brown, Savannah Brown, Ashley Brumley, and Lynzi Rodgers; 27 great grandchildren; four great great grandchildren; and other loving relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Charolette Johnson; grandson, Stewart Lee Johnson, III; brother, Carson T. Johnson; sister, Sena Johnson; nephew, Ricky Johnson; and step-daughter, Sherry Palmer.

Bearers are Stewart Johnson, Sr., Michael Jordan, Kevin Carter, Josh Johnson, Racen Johnson, and Ryan Johnson. Honorary bearers are Brandon Johnson, Tyler Brown, Daniel Brown, Richard Crabtree, Jim Brown, and Ricky Harjo.
