Steve Ware, Sr.

We announce the passing of Steve Lloyd Ware Sr. who left us on August 20, 2026, at the age of 72.

Steve was born to Lloyd and Helen Ware on March 28, 1954, in Pawhuska, Oklahoma. He is preceded in death by his mother, Helen; father, Lloyd; and sister, Susan Shiplet. Steve opened L&S Tool Company with his father, Lloyd, in his early adult years. He worked in the oil field most of his life followed by becoming a truck driver.

Steve’s greatest accomplishment and profound joy was his family. He is survived by his uncle, Gerald Jackson and aunt, Sharon Jackson, of Konawa. He loved spending time with family, especially his children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. He leaves behind his children: son, Steven Lloyd Ware, and his daughters, Morgan Ware and Mylie Ware; son, Jeremiah Ware and his wife, Diawna Ware, and their children, Lexy Fussel and her husband, Tyler Fussel and their children: Nicholi Fussell and Ellyana Fussel and Jeremiah’s remaining children, Dayla Ware, Dayton Ware, Lilly Ware, Jayden Ware, and Gabriel Ware; daughter, Eleanor Field and her husband, John, and their children, Connor Field and Mackenzie Field; daughter, Kelly Henriquez and her husband, Manny and daughter, Elizabeth Cross and son, Houston Ware his wife, Colleen Ware and sons, Tyler Ware and Hayden Ware.

A private memorial will be held for his family.
