KONAWA-Services for Stephen Douglas "Steve" Taylor, 52, of Konawa are 10:00 a.m. Thursday at the Criswell Funeral Home Chapel, Rev. Tony Folger will officiate. Burial will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery.
Mr. Taylor died Sunday, September 1, 2013 at an Ada hospital. He was born April 7, 1961 in Bremerhaven, Germany to Charles Love and Mary Ellen Jumper Taylor. He attended Ada High School.
He married Sharilyn Schooley on June 12, 1999. Mr. Taylor was a Telecommunication Specialist for a pre-paid phone card company and had also been employed with Hope Lumber Company. Mr. Taylor served in the U. S. Navy as a Communications Specialist.
Survivors include his wife, Sharilyn Taylor, of the home; a daughter, Elizabeth Stemple of Meredian, Idaho; three sons, Christopher Taylor of Norman, and Samuel Taylor and Jacob Taylor, both of the home; a step-daughter, Michelle Fernandez of Dibble; his parents, Charles and Mary Ellen Taylor of Konawa; and a brother, Jimmy Charles Taylor of Konawa.
Bearers will be Jerald Taylor, David Taylor, Kelly Reed, Angie Taylor, Jim Taylor, Leon Niehus, Christopher Taylor and William Taylor.
