Memorial services for Stephanie Lyn Carpenter, 41, of Ada, are 2:00 p.m. Friday at the Criswell Funeral Home Chapel, Revs. Stephen Wall and Bryce Wall will officiate.
Mrs. Carpenter passed away Wednesday, October 28, 2015. She was born September 6, 1974 at Ardmore to Stephen and Glynda Lynn Smith Wall. She attended grade school at Sulphur and graduated from Byng High School. She attended Oklahoma Baptist University in Shawnee.
She married John David Carpenter September 26, 2000 in Ada. Mrs. Carpenter was an employee for the Chickasaw Nation. She had also been a supervisor of dispatch for the Lighthorse Police Department.
Survivors include her husband, John Carpenter, of the home; a daughter, Rainee Easley, of the home; a son, Staley Easley, Ada; a grandson, the love of her life, Kyson Fields, of the home; her father, Rev. Stephen Wall, Ardmore; her mother-in-law, Georgia Carpenter of Ada; four sisters, Angelica Smith, Ada, Leslie Don, Purcell, Shelly Wall, Purcell and Amanda Smith, Sulphur; five brothers, Brandon Watson of South Dakota, Jeremy Smith, Tulsa and Wyatt Wall, Bryce Wall and Joe Harjo, all of Ardmore; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Glynda Watson; and maternal grandparents, Clyde and Edwina Smith.
Honorary bearers will be Ty Carpenter, Michael Holloway, Michael Smith, George "Ca-Te" Jesse, Burgess Navarro and Derek Jeter.
