SIDNEY GREEN
ADA-Services for Sidney Green, 86, Ada, are 2:00 p.m. Monday at Abba's House Worship Center, Rev. Ken Angel officiating. Burial follows at Memorial Park Cemetery.
Mr. Green died on Wednesday, June 18, 2008, in Houston, Texas. He was born June 17, 1922, in Coal County, Oklahoma, to Bedie and Mary Ann Gilliam Green. He attended school at Centrahoma. He worked as a carpenter, for Brown & Root, and also raised cattle. He was a member of Abba's House Worship Center.
He married Joy Lee Summers on December 15, 1952, in Ada.
Survivors include his wife, Joy Lee Green, of the home; two daughters, Shirley Sherrell and special friend Ronnie Mullins, Ada; and Phyllis and Jim Martin, Ada; two grandsons, Trent Sherrell and Chad Sherrell; one granddaughter, Storm Sherrell; a sister, Lorene Blevins, Oklahoma City, and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by three brothers, Bates Green, Bill Green and Bedie Green.
Bearers are Trent Sherrell, Chad Sherrell, Chris McClure, David Swarb, Ron Higgs and Don Higgs.
