SHIRLEE KING

ADA-Services for Shirlee Ann King, 68, Ada are 1:00 p.m. Thursday at the Criswell Funeral Home Chapel, Rev. Steve Gardner will officiate. Burial will follow at Little Cemetery, near Seminole, Oklahoma. The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Wednesday at Criswell Funeral Home.

Mrs. King died Friday, January 29, 2010 at her home. She was born July 17, 1941 at Wister, Oklahoma to Ezra and Ionia Sluder Cauthron.

Mrs. King was an Administrative Assistant for the Pontotoc County Health Department, retiring July 1, 2007. She worked part-time the last six months at the Health Department as a H1N1 Clerk. Mrs. King also owned and operated King Tax Service. She was a member of Union Hill Baptist Church.

Survivors include her husband, Bob King, of the home; three daughters, Debbie Lemons, Seminole, Lisa Jacobson and husband Jeff, Knoxville, TN, and Julie Bender, Seminole; five grandchildren, a granddaughter whom she raised, Kimberly Dockery, Oklahoma City, and Nicole Kosineski and husband Brett, Adamstown, MD, Melanie Jacobson, Knoxville, TN, Steve Lemons and wife Chelsie, Sapulpa, OK, and Jarrod Bender, Seminole; four great grandchildren, Paige and Payton Kosineski, and Anthony and Ashlynn Lemons; two brothers, Grady Cauthron, Oklahoma City and Harlon Cauthron, Overgaard, AZ; and three sisters, Retha Houck, Shawnee, Ruth Sillings, Tulsa, and Margaret Salazar, Shawnee.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Earl Jackson on October 25, 1987, four brothers, Alvie Cauthron, Herchel Cauthron, Harrell Dean Cauthron, and Halbert Cauthron, and a sister, Lillie Cauthron.
