SHAWN SMITH-KIRCHER
BYNG-Graveside services for Shawn Elaine Smith-Kircher, 48, Byng, are 1:00 p.m. Thursday at Memorial Park Cemetery, John Mayhue officiating. The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. Wednesday at the Criswell Funeral Home.
Shawn died on Friday, January 16, 2009, at her home. She was born November 17, 1960, in Ada, to Harold Clay and Billie Jo Jennings Smith. She attended school at Byng and El Reno and attended nursing school. She was a Licensed Practical Nurse and Homecare Provider and she was affiliated with Cornerstone Christian Church.
Survivors include a daughter, Tarina Smith, Long Beach, California; a son, Zachary James Kolhoff, Jacksonville, Florida; mother, Billie Jo Smith, Byng; a brother, Gary Smith, Sulphur; and several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
Bearers are Rex Blackburn, Andrew Brewton, Heather Thomas, J. W. Holdge, and Chris Smith. Honorary bearers are J. B. Jennings and Jack Smith.
The family requests memorials be made to Zac Kolhoff, 419 N. New Bethel Blvd., Ada, OK 74820 for transportation expenses to return from Africa.
