Shawn "Mick" Lyda, Sr.

Services for Shawn "Mick" David Lyda, Sr., 50, of Ada, are 2:00 p.m. Friday at the Criswell Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at Swan Hill Cemetery.

Mr. Lyda died Tuesday, November 20, 2018 at a local hospital. He was born January 12, 1968 in Ada to Margaret Ann Lyda.

He married Stacey Musser September 20, 1999 in Paul's Valley. Mr. Lyda was a rig operator in the oilfield.

Survivors include his wife, Stacey of the home; two daughters, Jaylissa Lyda and Sara Lyda; two sons, Shawn Lyda, Jr. and Derrick "Lucas" Lyda; a sister, Tonya Rutledge and husband Robert; two grandchildren, Kaleb and Jace; a niece, Bethany Rutledge; a nephew, Josiah Rutledge; and numerous other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, James and Maraget Heard; an infant son, an infant brother, and grandparents, Moses and Laura Lyda.

Bearers will be, Lloyd Currier, Kenny Lyda, James Fulsom, Buck Brown, Robert Rutledge, Shawn Lyda, Jr. and Lucas Lyda.
