Services for Sharon Kaye Sherrell, 77, of Ada are 1:00 p.m. Thursday, July 8, 2021 at Southwest Church of Christ, Floyd Kaiser will officiate. Burial will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery.

Mrs. Sherrell passed away Sunday, July 4, 2021 at her home. She was born September 10, 1943 in Oklahoma City, OK to Elbert Owen and Velma Rae Crownover Standridge.

She married Wendell Sherrell March 25, 1962. Mrs. Sherrell worked for the United States Post Office and later became co-owner of Sherrell Steel. She was a member of the Southwest Church of Christ.

Survivors include her husband, Wendell, of the home; son, D.E. Sherrell and wife Dawna; brother, Paul Standridge; sister, Elberta Washburn; special sister-in-law, Pat Allison and Sandy Hooper and husband Dan; 3 grandchildren, T.W. Estes, Taw Sherrell, and Bodie Marion and wife Jorri; 1 great granddaughter, Raelyn Marion and a host of beloved nieces, nephews, family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Elbert and Velma Standridge and a daughter, Cyndy Hill Sherrell; two brothers, Ronnie Standridge and Enos Standridge; and two sisters, Julit Davis and Sweet Joy Johnson.

Bearers are James Myers, Tommy Myers, Danny James, Gary Yowell, Clint Claborn and Glendol Hatton. Honorary Bearers are Ronnie Mitchusson, Billy Joe James and Terry Joe James.
