Sharon Lou McAlister, age 61 passed away on June 4, 2024 in Oklahoma City.  She was a beloved mother, "ne-ne", sister, aunt, and friend who will be missed by all who loved her.
Sharon was born on September 13, 1962 in Oklahoma City to Betty Lou McAlister and Billy Wayne McAlister.  Sharon attended Ada High School and was a bail bondsman in Ardmore for many years, upon moving to Edmond she assisted in a childcare home until opening her own for several years.  After closing her childcare Sharon moved back to Ada to be closer to her family and successfully managed local rental properties.  For all that knew her she was an avid bon bon maker.
Survivors include her daughters Kandi Renee Bostic and her husband Jerry of Ardmore, Kristin Nicole Hunter and her husband James of Stonewall, her brother Gerald Wayne McAlister and wife Doreen of Ada, sister Nancy Elaine McAlister and Kerry Holton of Ada, brother Jerry Ray McAlister and his wife Jamie of Oklahoma City, grandchildren Axel Stucky, Leila Stucky, Roxie Stucky, Braden Bostic, Kaci Noble, Haisley Hunter, Charleigh Hunter and numerous nieces and nephews.
Sharon was preceded in death by her parents Betty Lou McAlister, Billy Wayne McAlister and her niece Charity Dawn McAlister.
A Celebration of Life will be held for Sharon on Tuesday June 11, 2024 at Crosspointe Church in Ada Oklahoma from 2-4 p.m.  For those wishing to send flowers they can be sent to Criswell Funeral Home.
