SASAKWA-Private family services will be held at a later date for Sharon Rose Jones, 66, of Ada.
Mrs. Jones died Sunday, January 15, 2012 at her home in Sasakwa. She was born August 1, 1945 in Townsend, Massachusetts to Jessie J. and Frances Shephard Hussey. She graduated with honors from North Middlesex Regional High School in Townsend, MA.
She married David Edward Parker, Sr. He preceded her in death. She later married Jimmy Leon Jones, Sr. of Sasakwa. He preceded her in death. Mrs. Jones was a 44 year resident of Sasakwa and was a home-health nurses' aide. She was an avid gardener and fisherman.
Survivors include her four children, David Edward Parker of Leesville, LA, Paul Edward Parker and son-in-law, Vincent J. Thompson of Browns Mills, NJ; Robert Allan Parker and his wife Dena Irby Parker of Oklahoma City, and Jimmy Leon Jones, Jr. and his wife Stephannie Gregory Jones of Sasakwa; four granddaughters, Marissa, Brianna, Lucy Lynn and Abbie Jo; one great grandson, Parker James; brothers and sisters, Frannie, Jesse, Jerry, Judy and John; and numerous nieces and nephews.
