Senora Anne
Nabors

Senora Anne Nabors, 93, passed away on Sept 10, 2019.
She was born on July 2, 1926 in Fairfax, Oklahoma to Johnnie and Allie Likowski. Senora graduated from Ada High School in 1945. In December 1946, she married J.C. Nabors, also of Ada.
For the next 20 years, she would live in various bases across the United States and Europe, following her husband as he pursued his career as an Air Force fighter pilot. Major Nabors was killed in Vietnam in 1967.
After his death, Senora lived in Ada, Las Vegas, and eventually settled in Kingston, Oklahoma, where she became an avid golfer, a member of Texoma Baptist Church and enjoyed beautiful sunsets over Lake Texoma. In 2015 she moved to Georgia to be close to her daughter and granddaughter.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Major J.C. Nabors, her parents, Johnnie and Allie Likowski and her only sister Juanita Gay. Survivors include her daughter Margo, her granddaughter and her husband, Amanda and Matt Ellis, her great-grandson Ethan, her nieces Nancy Turner, Linda Nelson, Sharon Young, Gail Andrews and nephews, David Rhoades, Dan Nabors, Roger Rhodes, and John Gay.
Graveside services will be held at Memorial Park in Ada on October 12, 2019 at 11 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital.
