SEBENA BURRIS
ADA-Services for Sebena C. Burris, 75, Ada, are 2:00 p.m. Thursday at the Criswell Funeral Home Chapel, Rev. Gary Jamar will officiate. Burial will follow at High Hill Cemetery.
Ms. Burris died Sunday, November 7, 2010 at a local hospital. She was born November 22, 1934 at Centrahoma, Oklahoma to Mose and Willie D. Stick Burris. She attended Oklahoma City schools.
Ms. Burris was a homemaker and was affiliated with the Southwest Church of Christ.
Survivors include four sons, Melvin Burris and wife Kimberly, Roff, Phillip Burris and wife Paula, Ada, William Burris and wife Patti, Oklahoma City, and Ronnie Burris and wife Lynn, Tyler, TX; two sisters, Winnie Mae Fox, Del City, and Lonnie Burris, Noble; four brothers, Gabriel Burris, Newcastle, Dale Burris, Moore, Hoyt Burris, Ada and Neil Burris, Tupelo; 22 grandchildren; and 7 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, Patricia Kay Johnson; a son, James Burris; and three sisters, Doris, Moselle and Mary.
Bearers will be her grandsons. Honorary bearers will be Matt Wade, Rick Ellis, Lt. Gov. Jefferson Keel, Gov. Bill Anoatubby, Chuck Moore and Bob Sweet
