Sean Taylor

Services for Sean Michael Taylor, 33, of Allen are 1:00 p.m. Wednesday at the Allen School Auditorium, Rev. Buddy Drake will officiate. Burial will follow at Atwood Cemetery. Family and friends may call at the Allen Chapel from 4:00 p.m. Monday until service time.

Mr. Taylor passed away Tuesday, February 4, 2020. He was born April 11, 1986 at Ada to Robert and Ann Whitehead Taylor.

Mr. Taylor was a self-employed welder and construction worker. He loved tinkering with his yellow four-wheel drive truck.

Survivors include a son, Tylynn Jay Ault Taylor, Gerty; an adopted son, Douglas Lee Tatum, Allen; his mother, Ann Taylor, Allen; a brother, Justin Taylor and wife Ashley, Norman; nephew, Greyson Taylor, Norman; his grandmother, Joan "MeMa" Whitehead, Allen; a special friend, Shelby Monday; an aunt, uncles, cousins and other family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, Robert Taylor; a son, Paul Michael Tatum; his maternal grandfather, Walter J. Whitehead; paternal grandparents, Hampton and Carole Clark; maternal great-grandmother, "Granny" Cotton; and paternal great-grandmothers, Lois McQuigg and Lurline Webster.

Bearers will be Douglas Tatum, Derek Whitehead, Tanner Ashby, Jason Dean, Jon Murphy and Wyatt Murphy. Honorary bearers will be Tommy Sanders, Roy Snyder, Chris Howard, Jimmy Lacey, Don Adams, Zayne Erickson and Larry Nix.
