JOYCE SCOTT
ADA-Services for W. Joyce Scott, 79, of Ada, are 11:00 a.m. Monday at the Criswell Funeral Home Chapel, Rev. Richard Terry will officiate. Burial will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery.
Mrs. Scott died Thursday, February 23, 2012 at her home. She was born June 10, 1932 in Franks, Oklahoma to A. N. "Casey" Jones and Georgia Riedel Jones. She attended grade school in Franks and McLish and attended Ada High School. She graduated from Sulphur High School.
She married Ronald G. Scott on October 6, 1949 in Ada, Oklahoma. Mrs. Scott was a sales associate for Gem Jewelers until her retirement. She was a member of the Union Valley Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband, Ronald G. Scott, of the home; her children, Evonda Jackson and her husband Cliff of Ada, Carol Richardson and her husband Darrel of Sulphur, Donald Scott and his wife Vickie of Ada, Arnold Scott and his wife Linda of Ada, and Loretta Bush and her husband Tom of Ada; a brother, Edwin Jones of Yukon; her grandchildren, Justin Priest and wife Tana, Ada, Kandyce Jones and husband Bobby, Ada, Karis Richardson, Norman, Destry Richardson, Sulphur, Jason Richardson and wife Jana, Shawnee, Casie Elkins and husband Mike, Ada, Brytanie Shinault and husband Daniel, Ada, Joe Myers and wife Brandy, Ada, Donny Scott, Ada, Logan Scott, Ada, and Heston Bush, Ada; and 10 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, A.N. "Casey" and Georgia Jones; and a great granddaughter, Talin Scott.
Bearers will be her grandsons, Justin Priest, Joe Myers, Destry Richardson, Donny Scott, Heston Bush and Logan Scott.
