Obituary

Sandra Ingram

Services for Sandra Hull Ingram will be 10:00 a.m., Saturday, April 11, 2026, at the First Baptist Church, 521 S. Broadway, Ada, OK. Rev. Steve Wilburn will officiate. Sandra will be buried alongside her husband, Earl, at the Holdenville Cemetery, Holdenville, OK. Sandra passed away peacefully, at a local hospital on Wednesday, April 8, 2026, at the age of 82.

Sandra was born May 24, 1943, at Dallas, Texas, to Kenneth and Lovene Holden Hull. Sandra attended Moss High School, where she was an outstanding athlete. She was a four-year National Honor Society member, and was one of the Valedictorians of her 1961 graduating class.

Sandra Hull and Earl Ingram were married June 25, 1966, at the First Baptist Church, Holdenville, OK, after Earl completed two years of military service, during the Vietnam era. The couple lived in Oklahoma City during the early years of their marriage. At that time, Sandra worked as an executive secretary for Fidelity Bank. Eventually the couple settled in Ada. Sandra returned to college, completing her teacher certification, as well as obtaining her Master’s Degree in Education. She taught 4th grade for 1 & ½ years, at Varnum Public School, and 5th grade for 14 years at Pickett-Center Public School. She loved teaching, as well as her students, several of which have stayed in touch with her through the years. One of the honors that very few knew Sandra had received was, that she was inducted into Who’s Who Among American Teachers. This resulted from a graduating senior, Jonathan Woods, being inducted into Who’s Who Among American Students. This student was asked to select the teacher, from all 12 years of schooling, that had the greatest influence on him. He selected Mrs. Ingram, his former 5th grade teacher.

Sandra asked Jesus Christ to come into her heart and be her Lord and Savior at 12 years of age, at a revival at Banner Baptist Church, in the Moss Community, in April, 1955. She followed that decision with baptism at the First Baptist Church baptistry, at Wetumka, OK. She has been an active member of the First Baptist Church, Ada, since 1979, where she taught 5th grade Girls’ Sunday School for many years. She was also a member of the choir, and served as Church Clerk for several years.

Sandra and Earl were always proud of the man their surviving son, Robert, has become. After Earl’s passing, Robert was tremendously supportive of Sandra, who loved him dearly. Sandra is also survived by one granddaughter, Emily, who has been loved and prayed for daily. Additional survivors are a sister and brother-in-law, Cindy and Ed Fulmer, who faithfully stood with Sandra and Earl during both joyful and heartbreaking times of their lives. Other survivors include several relatives and friends who have helped her greatly and been supportive in many ways. She asked that I thank you, again, for all you’ve done.

Sandra is preceded in death by her parents. She is also preceded by her beloved husband, Earl, as of March 15, 2022, as well as two sons, Gavin and Ryan.

Pallbearers are: Zac Murray, Nathan Fulmer, Gary Burden, Dustin Smith, Nicklaus Fulmer, and Ronnie Dean Stafford.
