Samuel Tillery

Graveside services for Samuel Albert Tillery, 85, of Davis, formerly of Allen will be 2:00 Saturday at the Allen Cemetery, Rev. Bill Matthews will officiate. The family will receive relatives and friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Criswell Funeral Home in Ada.

Mr. Tillery died Monday, April 29, 2019 at a Davis nursing home. He was born February 1, 1934 in Allen to Thomas and Elizabeth Sanders Tillery.

He married Christine Shirley May 16, 1953. Mr. Tillery retired as a machinist for Gault Tool Co. and was of the Baptist faith.

Survivors include his wife, Christine of the home; children, Linda Workman and husband Al of Atoka, Dianna Wood and husband Miles of Anadarko, Robbie Yarbrough and husband Gary of Tecumseh,   Sammy Tillery and wife Charlotte of Colbert and Ronnie Tillery and wife Doris Ann of Sulphur; a foster son, Billy Snider and wife Brenda of Allen; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by fifteen sisters and brothers.

Bearers will be grandsons.
