SALLY PHERIGO

ADA-Services for Sally Lorraine Pherigo, 70, Ada, are 2 p.m. Monday at the Criswell Chapel, Kenneth Butler officiating. Burial follows at Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Sunday at Criswell Funeral Home.

Mrs. Pherigo died on Thursday, September 24, 2009, at a Lawton hospital. She was born August 17, 1939, in Casper, Wyoming, to Robert Wilson Plummer and Viola Frances Grant Plummer. She graduated from Ada High School and lived in the Ada area all her life. She was a homemaker, worked at Harrison's Hallmark and later was a secretary at Ada Typewriter and Supply. She was a longtime member of the Tanti Study Club.

She married Linden Ray Pherigo on April 17, 1959. He preceded her in death on August 14, 2005 in Ada.

Survivors include two daughters, Julie Cunningham and her husband Pat, Elgin; and Angela Long and her husband John, Ada; a son, Shawn Pherigo, Ada; two sisters, Joyce Moore and her husband Jerry, Norman; and Suellen Stewart and her husband Hugh, Eureka, California; and four grandchildren, Trey Caldwell, Sawyer Caldwell, Alex Long and Blake Long.

Bearers are Britt Johnson, Trey Caldwell, Sawyer Caldwell, Alex long, Blake Long, John Long and Pat Cunningham.
