RUTH WYNN
ADA-Services for Ruth Marie Wynn, 83, Ada, are 10:00 a.m. Saturday at the Criswell Funeral Home Chapel, Rev. Tony Peak will officiate. Burial will follow at Oakman Cemetery.
Mrs. Wynn died Tuesday, February 19, 2008 at a local nursing home. She was born September 9, 1924 at Denoya, Oklahoma to Edward Ken and Emily Ellen Boatman Wells. During World War II, she worked in Tulsa manufacturing airplanes.
She married Junior Mid Wynn on January 19, 1946 at Whitefield, Oklahoma. He died September 4, 2006. After living in Bakersfield, California, she and her husband moved to this area in the 1950's. Mrs. Wynn was a homemaker and a longtime member of the Church of Christ in Francis. She took care of and loved many children both family and friends.
Survivors include a son, Wendell Wynn and wife Lilly Kay, Ada; and two grandchildren, William Mid Wynn, Ada, and Amelia Kay Wynn, Ada.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, brothers, John Wells, Ken Wells, William Wells, and Claud Wells, and a sister, Dorthy Kelly.
Bearers will be Chris Lollar, Darrel Mullins, Eric Craft, Jeff Wallis, and Charles McAnally. Honorary bearers will be Calvin Neely, Wayne Joplin, Bill Peterson, and Arthur Scroggins.
