The family is planning a memorial service in the mountains of Colorado for Ruth Marie Osborne Wills, 87, of Ada.
Mrs. Wills died Thursday, May 2, 2013 at her home. She was born April 21, 1926 in Lamar, Colorado to A.F. and Pearl Osborne. She graduated from Hooper High School in Hooper, Colorado and received her Bachelor of Arts in Education from Adams State College and Masters Degree in Counseling from Wayne State College. She was a high school teacher, librarian and counselor. She came to this area in the fall of 2005 from Victoria, Texas.
She married Dr. Stanley E. Wills on May 30, 1947 in Alamosa, Colorado. He preceded her in death on October 13, 2005. She was of the Methodist faith.
Survivors include three daughters, Martha Pennington of Ada, Karen Kelton and husband Phil of Austin, Texas and Kristi Kennedy and husband Kevin of Radcliff, Kentucky; two sons, Kyle Wills of Huntsville, Texas and Sean Wills and wife Anna of Kearney, Nebraska; 8 grandchildren, John Pedersen and wife Kaity, Steven Pedersen, Kevin Kelton, Erica Harris and husband Drew, Seth Wills, Christina Webber and husband Charles, Aaron Nosich Kennedy and Katherine Kennedy; one great-granddaughter, Scarlett Harris; one sister Ruby Cole of Grand Junction, Colorado.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Stanley and Ruth Wills scholarship fund, Adams State in Alamosa, Colorado.
