Ann Tribbey

Memorial services for Ruth Ann Tribbey, 73, of Ada are 2:00 p.m. Monday at the Criswell Funeral Home Chapel, Floyd Kaiser will officiate.

Mrs. Tribbey passed away Wednesday, August 7, 2019 at an Oklahoma City hospital. She was born September 16, 1945 at College Station, Texas to Edwards L. Hallmark and Ruth Bratcher Hallmark. She moved to Ada in 1962 from Houston, TX. She graduated from Ada High School and attended East Central University.

She married Arthur L. Tribbey in 1962 at Joplin, MO. He preceded her in death May 13, 2000 in Ada. Mrs. Tribbey was the co-developer and operator of the Holiday Inn and the Raintree Inn Hotels in Ada. She was a member of Southwest Church of Christ.

Survivors include two sons, Brett Tribbey and wife Mara of Ada and Arthur Edwards (Chip) Tribbey of Ada; and a granddaughter, Ericka Ruth Tribbey of Houston, TX.

Mrs. Tribbey was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; and a brother.
