ADA-Graveside services for Ruth Murphy, 91, of Ada, are 2:00 p.m. Tuesday at Highland Cemetery near Stonewall, Rev. David Daniel will officiate.
Mrs. Murphy died Saturday, January 31, 2015 at a local nursing home. She was born October 31, 1923 in Tupelo to Oscar and Nellie Stewart Bynum.
She married John W. "Buck" Murphy on November 24, 1950 in Lovington, New Mexico. He preceded her in death April 22, 2010. Mrs. Murphy was a homemaker.
Survivors include a daughter, Betty Fourqurean of Ada; two grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and a great-great granddaughter.
