RUTH DURBIN
OKLAHOMA CITY-Graveside services for Ruth E. Durbin, 63, Oklahoma City, formerly of Stonewall are 11:00 a.m. Tuesday at Highland Cemetery in Stonewall, Rev. Bob Langston will officiate.
Ms. Durbin died Friday, May 16, 2008 at her home. She was born July 11, 1944 in Ada, Oklahoma to Furman L. and Inez Standridge Gibson. She attended Stonewall schools, graduated from Stonewall High School, and received a Bachelor's degree from East Central University.
Ms. Durbin taught school for a short time and later was an insurance underwriter. She was a member of Crown Heights United Methodist Church.
Survivors include a sister, Margaret Stone, Stillwater; and two nephews, Clay Stone and wife Reneé, Perkins, and Marty Stone and wife Joleen, Bowling Green, KY.
She was preceded in death by a son, Michael Durbin.
