RUTH BERRY
BURLESON, TEXAS-Services for Ruth Agnes Bates Berry, 98, of Burleson, Texas, formerly of Ada are 10:00 a.m. Friday at the Criswell Funeral Home Chapel, Pastor Jerry State will officiate. Burial will follow at Rose Hill Cemetery in Wapanucka.
Ms. Berry died Tuesday, January 8, 2013 at Burleson, Texas. She was born February 10, 1914 at Wapanucka, Oklahoma to Jess and Myrtle Mary Coffee Bates. She attended Wapanucka schools.
Ms. Berry was a licensed practical nurse at Palm Harbor Hospital in California. She was affiliated with the Seventh Day Adventist Church.
Survivors include a son, Melvin Perkins and wife Durlene, Burleson, TX; a niece, Mary Myrtle Bates Haworth, Tupelo; three grandchildren, Phyllis Perkins, Burleson, TX, Keita Perkins, Burleson, TX, and Ronda DeSoto, San Antonio, TX; 7 great grandchildren; and 10 great great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a son, Leo Perkins and a grandson, Anthony Perkins.
