Russell Peterson

Graveside services for Russell Ray Peterson, 89, of Roff are 10:00 a.m. Thursday, July 30, 2026 at East Hill Cemetery.

Mr. Peterson passed away Monday, July 27, 2026 at an Oklahoma City nursing home. He was born September 12, 1936 at Roff, Oklahoma to James Spivie and Audra Lucille Roberts Peterson.

Mr. Peterson was a self-employed roofer until his retirement. He served in the U. S. Army.

Survivors include two sons, Ricky Ray Peterson and Robert Reece Peterson; two daughters, Robbie Kay Wilson and Kim Marie Willard; his grandchildren, Russtina Drewdean Davis, Brandon Leon Wilson, Dilon Rider, Summer Rider, Niki Lynn Tanner, Brooke Michelle Mattox, Brittany Morgan Peterson, and Breanna McKenzie Peterson; a brother, Jimmy Don Lewis Peterson; and four sisters, Katie Latimer, Sharon Kay Hicks, Sheila Ray Hicks, and Shelly Faye Hicks.

He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Sandra Drewdean Peterson; brothers, Billy Joe Peterson, and Kenneth R. Tucker; sisters, Betty June Peterson, Marita Dale Barton, Ella Fay Franklin, and Wanda Shirley Toral; and his daughter, Ronda May Peterson.
