RUBY NEUGIN
OKLAHOMA CITY- Services for Ruby Deaton Neugin, 86, Oklahoma City, formerly of Ada, are 2:00 p.m. Monday at the Criswell Funeral Home Chapel, Rev. Joe T. Dixon will officiate. Burial will follow at Five-Mile Cemetery.
Mrs. Neugin died Thursday, June 16, 2011 at an Oklahoma City hospital. She was born April 18, 1925 in Ada, Oklahoma to William Arthur and Alta Jane Roberts Bryant. She attended Byng schools.
She married Charley Deaton in 1941. He preceded her in death in 1968. She later married Henry Neugin in 1975. He preceded her in death on February 7, 1982. Mrs. Neugin was a medical aide at Valley View Regional Hospital until her retirement. She was a member of Lovelady Baptist Church. Mrs. Neugin moved to Oklahoma City about 10 years ago.
Survivors include a daughter, Janice Watson, Oklahoma City; two sons, Billy Deaton, Ada, and Bobby Deaton, Moses Lake, WA; four grandchildren, Tamara Kelley, Oklahoma City, Chris Deaton, Ada, Mitchell Deaton, Ada, and Roy Deaton, Ada; three great grandchildren, Eliot Casiano, Nicole Deaton and Carson Deaton; and one sister, June Wooten, Independence, MO.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a sister, Geneva; and a grandson, Jesse Deaton.
