Ruby Cooper McKinney
ADA-Services for Ruby Cooper McKinney, 98, of Ada are 10:00 a.m. Saturday, June 6th at the Chickasaw Community Center in Ada, Rev. Randy Golden and Trevor Bush will officiate. Burial will follow at High Hill Cemetery. A wake will be held 7:00 p.m. Friday at the Criswell Funeral Home Chapel
Mrs. McKinney died Friday, May 29, 2015 at her home. She was born July 28, 1916 in Ada, Oklahoma to Richmond Dillard and Caroline Elizabeth Hawkins Milligan.
She was a homemaker and affiliated with High Hill Baptist Church.
Survivors include four daughters, Martha Hill of Dibble, Virginia Paulk of Ada, Patsy Perry and husband James of Ada and Sandra Easley and husband Bob of Ada; two sons, Thomas Cooper and wife Linda of Ada and Dale Cooper of Ada; one brother, Jack Milligan of Carmichael, CA; one sister, Geneva Ducote of Madill; thirty-nine grandchildren and numerous great, great great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Preston Lester Cooper in January 1961 and also by husband William McKinney; her parents; two daughters, Betty Dodd and Bertie Williams; two grandchildren; one great-grandchild; three great great-grandchildren; three brothers, Paul Milligan, Raymond Milligan and William Milligan and two sisters, Dorothy Clark and Bertha Milligan.
Bearers will be her grandsons. Honorary bearers will be Gov. Bill Anoatubby and Lt. Gov. Jefferson Keel.
