Ruby Brumley

Services for Ruby Jane Brumley, 90, of Ada are 10:00 a.m. Monday, August 18, 2025, at First Methodist Church; Rev. Brian Matthews will officiate.  Burial will follow at Gerty Cemetery.  The family will receive friends form 2:00-4:00 p.m. on Sunday at Criswell Funeral Home.

Ms. Brumley passed away Tuesday, August 12, 2025, in Ada.  She was born January 31, 1935, in Tulsa to Lawrence and Ruby Jewel Ladd Curtis.  She received her bachelor's degree and was a counselor until her retirement.

Survivors include her two sons, Danny Powell and wife Debra and Johnny Lee Moss; daughter, Joni Byrd and husband Roger; four grandchildren, Leslie Robson, Amy Jimenez, Colton Byrd, and Katelyn Son; and three great grandchildren, Eric Creel, Gavin Robson, and Minnie Jimenez.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Charles Powell; second husband, Wayne Brumley; brother, Douglas Curtis; and three sisters, Mae Francis Fanucchi, Bette Kunhart, and Wanda Wilson.

Bearers are Heith Robson, Ben Jimenez, Colton Byrd, Chris Son, and Eric Creel.
