Roy "Don" McFarlin

Services for Roy "Don" McFarlin, 86, of Ada, are 3:00 p.m. Tuesday at Criswell Funeral Home Chapel, Kevin McFarland will officiate.

Roy "Don" McFarlin passed away September 15, 2018 at his home. He was born in Ada, OK July 10, 1932.  He was a graduate of Ada High School.  After high school, he joined the US Army and served in Korea as an artillery specialist (tank).

He worked for BF Goodrich in Tulsa, OK for 25 years and received many awards for outstanding  sales achievements.   He returned home to Ada and worked for Valley View Hospital until his retirement.  He touched many, many lives through his good works, humor and love of family and friends.  He will be dearly missed by all.

He is survived by the love of his life, his wife of 22 years, Mary McFarlin; his son, Gregg Wayne McFarlin (Lisa); his sister, Catherine McFarlin; his daughter-in-laws, Cherie (Rusty) Hopper and Jane Laxton; his grandchildren, Dawn and James "Andrew" McFarlin, Jesse and Ash Anderson and Jae Lee Carson; his great grandchildren, Ashton, Acean, Jessca and Kylee Anderson, and Timbir Veal; his nephews, Randy McFarlin (Marianne) and James Darryl McFarlin; his great niece and nephew, Sarah McFarlin Klepacki  and Kevin McFarlin.

He was preceded in death by his parents, James and Sallie McFarlin; his brothers Jimmy, Dueard, A.J., Bobby (Mary Faye), Alfred and Coy; and his nephew, Derek McFarlin.
