ROSA JACKSON

ADA-Services for Rosa Lee Jackson, 66, of Ada, are 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, April 22, 2014 at the Southwest Church of Christ, Floyd Kaiser will officiate. The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Monday at Criswell Funeral Home.

Mrs. Jackson died Thursday, April 17, 2014 at a local hospital. She was born December 9, 1947 in Holdenville, Oklahoma to Clarence Wain and Opal Lee Brown Sanders. She graduated from high school in Taft, Texas in 1966. She also attended Del Mar College in Corpus Christi, Texas.

She was a real estate agent, a Manager of Braum's in Ada, Pauls Valley and Oklahoma City, and later the Office Manager at Jackson Plumbing in Ada.

She married Thomas Franklin Jackson on May 9, 1990 in Ada. Mrs. Jackson was affiliated with the Southwest Church of Christ in Ada. She was also a past President of Ada Board of Realtors.

Survivors include her husband, Tom Jackson of the home; two sons, Bill Bennett and his wife Christie of Howe, Oklahoma, Wes Bennett of New York; a daughter, Shelly Sweat and husband Gary of Ruidoso, New Mexico; seven grandchildren, Austin, Sarah and Nathan Bennett; Bethany, Forrest, and Christian Sweat; and Jeni Moore; one great grandchild, Easton Sweat; a sister, Betty Dorene Mitchell of Allen; a brother, Wayne Sanders and wife Bonnie of Ada; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and daughter, Laura Moore.

Bearers will be Willie Dansby, Don Hill, Ron Milner, Wayne McMullan, Dean Brown, Floyd Gurley, Gary Haggard, Ken Hudson and Jack Long.
