Ronnie Rowe

Services for Ronnie Gene Rowe, 78, of Oil Center are 2:00 p.m. Wednesday at the Criswell Funeral Home Chapel, Revs. Toby Willoughby and Cary Gerth will officiate. Burial will follow at Box X Cemetery.

Mr. Rowe passed away Friday, October 2, 2020 at his home. He was born December 2, 1941 in Levelland, TX to Norval William and Juanita Long Rowe. He graduated from Vanoss High School in 1960. He attended Oklahoma State University, Murray State and East Central University.

He married Olene Dansby October 6, 1967. Mr. Rowe was a Dairyman in the Oil Center area, retiring after 37 years. He was a longtime active member of the Oil Center Pentecostal Holiness Church for 47 years.

Survivors include his wife, Olene, of the home; two daughters, Ronna Akins and husband Les and Chaga Lomas; two sons, Shannon Rowe and wife Lauri and Stephen Rowe and wife Laura; a brother, Regie Rowe and wife Katherine; his grandchildren, Chase, Cameron, Eddie, Yesenia, Vanessa, William, Nathan, Marlee, Riley, Hannah and Reese; and three great-grandchildren, Paisley, Isabella and Pearson.

He was preceded in death by his parents, brother Billy Rowe, sister Gwendolyn Kragh and nephew Jeff Kragh.

Bearers will be grandsons and nephews.

Honorary bearers are Jimmy Ward, Jerry McDaniel, Howard Briggs, Mike Casady, Shawn Lackey, Toby Willoughby and Delton Sutton.
