IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Ronnie
Bible
September 27, 1952 – October 22, 2025
Ronnie Bible
Ronnie Wayne Bible, age 73, of Ada, Oklahoma, passed away on Wednesday, October 22, 2025, in Oklahoma City, surrounded by his loving family.
A celebration of Ronnie's life will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, October 24, 2025, at the Criswell Funeral Home Chapel, with BC Strickland officiating. Burial will follow at Lightning Ridge Cemetery.
Ronnie was born on September 27, 1952, in Wewoka, Oklahoma, to Wayne and Beatrice (Heard) Bible. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather whose life was defined by faith, family, and hard work.
On July 12, 1974, Ronnie married his high school sweetheart, Sharlene Nowlin. Together, they built a loving home in Ada and shared 51 wonderful years of marriage. Ronnie worked as a monument engraver for most of his adult life, a craft that reflected his quiet strength and attention to detail.
A proud "girl dad," Ronnie cherished weekends spent with his daughters, Brooke and Brenna, while Sharlene worked. Those days were filled with messy side ponytails, singing, OU football games on TV, and errands around town—simple moments that became treasured memories. He instilled in his daughters a deep respect for hard work and a strong foundation of faith.
Ronnie's greatest joy came from being "Grandpa" to his grandchildren. He followed them across Oklahoma and beyond to cheer them on at sporting events and support their every interest. His love knew no bounds, and he would move mountains to ensure they had everything they needed.
Ronnie is survived by his beloved wife, Sharlene, of the home; daughters Brooke McDonald and husband Marty of Coppell, TX, and Brenna Reed and husband Tim of Roff, OK; brother Gary Bible and wife Shelly of Sasakwa, OK; grandchildren Kirstie Baker and husband Tyler, Dalton Reed and wife Jaden, and Dylan Reed; and great-grandchildren Ella Baker, Brady Baker, and Rhett Reed.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Wayne and Beatrice Bible, and his sister, Linda Tripp.
Ronnie will be remembered for his unwavering love, quiet humor, and the legacy of kindness and strength he leaves behind.
Bearers will be Daniel Nowlin, Byron Bible, Wade House, Robby House, Don White, Chris Landreth, and Kevin Landreth. Honorary bearers will be CJ Johnson, Chase Ward, and Cole Ward.
