RON HEFLEY

ADA-Services for Ronald Lynn "Ron" Hefley, 62, Ada, are 2:00 p.m. Tuesday at the Galey Baptist Church, Rev. Phillip Mullins will officiate. Burial will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery.

Mr. Hefley died Friday, November 21, 2008 at an Oklahoma City hospital. He was born August 20, 1946 at Clarita, Oklahoma to Hugh and Mettie Hefley. He attended Olney schools and graduated from Olney High School.

He married Rhonda Kimrey on September 11, 1971. She preceded him in death on June 22, 1988. He later married LaFleeta Prewitt on May 28, 1999. Mr. Hefley was a maintenance supervisor for Solo Cup Company for 38 years. He was a member of Galey Baptist Church and had served in the National Guard.

Survivors include his wife, LaFleeta Hefley, of the home; four sons, Billy Lynn Hefley and wife Becky, Frisco, Texas, Jeff Hefley and wife Christa, Ada, Ryan Hefley, Ada, and Mike Sanders, Ada; a daughter, Charity Smith and husband Robby, Ada; a step-daughter, Raye Blackwood, Stratford; three brothers, Hugh Hefley and wife Mae, Ft. Worth, Texas, Perry Hefley and wife Barbara, Cottonwood, OK, and Wendell Hefley and wife Cherry, Clarita, OK; a sister, Maxine Woods and husband Don, Ada; grandchildren, Zack and Rylan Hefley, Paige Hefley, Katie Henson, Sarah Henson, Keisha Smith, Aaron Smith, Alisha Smith, Ashley Smith, Luke Smith, Jake Blackwood, Wyatt Blackwood, and Mattea Blackwood.
