REV. RONALD BURNETT
FRANCIS-Services for Rev. Ronald H. Burnett, 61, Francis, are 10:00 a.m. Monday at the River of Life Church, 7th and Cherry in Ada, Revs. Charles Dial and Al Beck will officiate. Burial will follow at Rosedale Cemetery.
Rev. Burnett died Thursday, May 29, 2008 at a local hospital. He was born December 15, 1946 at Ada, Oklahoma to Winfred H. "Wimp" and Gladys George Burnett. He lived in this area most of his life and graduated from Byng High School.
He married Valerie Kay Grissom in 1979 at Tecumseh, Oklahoma. Rev. Burnett was the Pastor at Ada Pentecostal Church of God and he was also a plumbing contractor. He was a member of the Ada Pentecostal Church of God, and he had served in the National Guard for six years.
Survivors include his wife, Valerie Burnett, of the home; two sons, Mike Burnett and wife Kimmi, Seminole, and John Burnett and wife Christi, Copperas Cove, Texas; five grandchildren, Makala, Tyler, Tristan, Caleb and Jacob.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Bearers will be Tim Churchwell, Troy Byrd, Larry Byrd, Tyler Burnett, James Bailey, Jerry Cox, James Parks, and Tristan Burnett.
