ROGER FARTHING
CENTRAHOMA-Graveside services for Roger Lee Farthing, 57, Centrahoma are 2:00 p. m. Saturday at the Centrahoma Cemetery, Rev. Delbert White will officiate. The Chickasaw Honor Guard will conduct military honors at the cemetery.
Mr. Farthing died Tuesday, March 29, 2011 at the Veterans Hospital in Oklahoma City. He was born July 29, 1953 in Jackson, Michigan to Albert and Wilma Jean Copelin Farthing.
He married Nancy Lynne Morris on May 27, 1979 in Cottonwood, Oklahoma. Mr. Farthing was a truck driver and trainer for Werner Enterprises in Omaha, Nebraska for 18 years. He was a member of the Gospel Lighthouse and had served in the U. S. Army during the Vietnam War.
Survivors include his wife, Nancy Farthing, of the home; two daughters, Miranda Farthing, Durant and Marlana Farthing and Jeremiah Henry, Centrahoma; two grandchildren, Zachariah Henry and Abigayle Henry; and other loving relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
