ROGER ESCUE
ADA-Services for Roger Keith Escue, 65, Ada, are 10:00 a.m. Monday at the Calvary Pentecostal Holiness Church, Revs. Derek Bolin and Michael Russett will officiate. Burial will follow at Center Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 2:00 – 4:00 p.m. Sunday at the home of Joe and Roberta Summers, 15421 CR 3500, Ada, OK.
Mr. Escue died Friday, January 14, 2011 at his sister's home. He was born December 10, 1945 at Center, Oklahoma to Everett and Birdie Dame Escue. He attended grade school at Center and graduated from Vanoss High School. He also graduated from East Central University.
He married Jewel Annette Neill on June 16, 1967. She preceded him in death on June 18, 2004. Mr. Escue was a security guard for 30 years at Valley View Regional Hospital until his retirement. Formerly, he was employed with Pinkerton Security. He was a member of Calvary Pentecostal Holiness Church and had served in the U. S. Army.
Survivors include a son, Brian Keith Escue, Ada; two sisters, Roberta Summers and her husband Joe, Pickett and Linda Eager and her husband, Roff; and several nieces and nephews.
Bearers will be Brandon Bolin, Johnathan Eager, Keith Mariott, Clay Potter, Ronnie Snyder and Chris Anson. Honorary bearers will be the men of Calvary Pentecostal Holiness Church.
