Robert West III
Services for Robert Leo West, III, 86, formerly of Francis, will be 10:00 a.m. Thursday at the Criswell Funeral Home Chapel, Rev. Calvin Conner will officiate. Burial will follow at Rosedale Cemetery with the Chickasaw Honor Guard conducting military honors.
Mr. West died Monday, June 13, 2016 in Choctaw, Oklahoma. He was born April 5, 1930 in Francis, Oklahoma to Robert Leo and Lavada West, II. He graduated from Francis High School.
He married Jackie Lee Balthrop on July 7, 1950. She preceded him in death on December 7, 2014. Mr. West employed with the Civil Service in Aircraft Inspections. He served in the U.S. Army 45th Infantry in Korea. He was affiliated with the Free Will Baptist Church.
Survivors include one son, Robert Leo West, IV of Ada; one daughter, Pamela Sauls and husband Dale of Choctaw, Ok; two sisters, Shirley Hill of Oklahoma City, Ok and Joy Geno of Harrah, Ok; 8 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; one daughter, Debra Lee West; two sisters, Lydia Baker and Virgie Davis and one brother Joe Dean West.
Bearers will be Robbie Havallena, Todd Jesse, Jared West, Jake Havallena, Blake Steele, Chuck Wofford and Brad Wofford.
