PARIS, ARKANSAS-Graveside services for Robert Jefferson Norman, Jr., 88, of Paris, Arkansas, formerly of Ada, are 10:00 a.m. Monday at Rosedale Cemetery, Wayne West will officiate.

Mr. Norman died Wednesday, March 12, 2014 in Paris, Arkansas. He was born November 27, 1925 in Stonewall, Oklahoma to Robert Jefferson Norman and Emma Jane Boatright Norman. He attended Stonewall schools.

He married Wilma Nadine West on October 4, 1947. She preceded him in death on November 20, 2013 in Ft. Smith, Arkansas. Mr. Norman delivered ice for Southern Ice in Ada and later was a welder for Sun Oil Company until his retirement. He served in the U. S. Navy during World War II from January 13, 1944 until being honorably discharged April 23, 1946.

Survivors include his daughter, Donna Sue Williams and her husband B. J. of Ratcliff, AR; two granddaughters, Christina Norman of Norman, and Rachael Lee and her husband Jason of Ada; one grandson, Zackery Williams and his wife Lisa of Kathleen, GA; 6 great grandchildren, Ava and Naomi Williams, Tylar Lee and Jasie Lee, Lewis Rostron, Jason Rostron and Jasie Lee.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife; two sons, Richard Royce Norman and Randall Robert Norman; a grandson, Scott Shea Williams; and four brothers, Jim Norman, Melvin Norman, Alvin Norman and Kenneth Norman.
