Robert Meek

Services for Robert Terry Meek, 74, of Ada are 10:00 a.m. Friday, October 25, 2024 at the Criswell Funeral Home Chapel; Rev. Randy Martin will officiate. Graveside will be 2:00 p.m. Friday at Alex Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. Thursday at Criswell Funeral Home.

Mr. Meek passed away Monday, October 21, 2024 at an Oklahoma City hospital. He was born March 28, 1950 in Ada, OK to Robert "Leslie" and Bernice Lucille Hallum Meek. He graduated from Alex High School and attended Cameron University.

He married Debra Faye Roles November 25, 1998 in Ada. Mr. Meek was the Office Manager for Ada Nissan until his retirement. He had also served in the National Guard.

Survivors include his wife, Debra, of the home; two sons, Corey Meek of Choctaw and Kevin Jones and wife Jamie of Ada; a daughter, Laura Jones of Norman; uncle, Glen Hallum and wife Ann of Edmond; aunt, Estelle Watters of Gloucester, MA; seven grandchildren, Reece, Archer and Maddox Meek of Choctaw; Savannah, Cheatwood and Ellie Jones of Ada; and Malachi and Noah Jemmison of Norman; nephew, Kyle Johnston of Orlando, FL; niece, Erin Wagner and husband Sean of Charlotte, NC; and other loving relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a sister, Karen Johnston; son, Scotty Jones; and granddaughter, Regan Meek.

Bearers will be Eddie Hilmes, Corey Dowell, Joe Mankin, Brad McLellan, and Casey Mankin.
