Obituary

SULPHUR-Services for Robert Lewis "Bob" Colbert, 64, of Sulphur, formerly of Ada, are 10:00 a.m. Tuesday at the Criswell Funeral Home Chapel, Rev. Bob Langston will officiate. Burial will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery in Ada.
Mr. Colbert died Thursday, January 24, 2013 at a Norman hospital. He was born May 2, 1948 in Ada, Oklahoma to Lewis G. and Thelma Faye Johnson Colbert. He attended Ada schools and graduated from Ada High School where he was on the Ada Cougar Football Team. He also attended East Central University in Ada.
Mr. Colbert was the owner and operator of B & B Car Care in Ada and presently he operated the Chickasaw Nation Vehicle Maintenance Center. Mr. Colbert was a member of the Ada Elks Lodge #1640, where he had served in several offices.
Survivors include his fiancé, Debbie Miller of Sulphur; two sons, Brian Colbert and his wife Jackie of Oklahoma City, and Justin Colbert of Ada; and three grandchildren, Maycie Colbert, T. J. Reim, and Bailey Reim.
Bearers will be Mike Gray, Tommy Killian, Jack McMahan, Howard Foster, Joe Tynskey and Mike Gilliam. Honorary bearers will be Brett Douglas, James Criswell, James Lollar, Frank Swearingen, Dexter Pruitt, Tommy Landrith and Larry Cannon.
