Robert "Bob" Ardiana

Ada community leader, volunteer, turkey fryer, and exceptional grandfather Robert "Bob" Ardiana passed away June 21, 2019. In his 79 years, he worked to improve thousands of lives, helped hundreds of people, and was loved by all.

Bob was born February 17, 1940 in Southgate, CA to Beverly Mildred and Louis McCormick Ardiana. He graduated from Texas Wesleyan University. He served as a Chief Master Sergeant in the United States Air Force for 23 years. He married Anita Landry on September 3, 1966 in Fort Worth, TX. He was a hospital Purchasing Agent, and was retired from Cypress Fairbanks Medical Center Hospital.

After moving to Ada in 2002, Bob became active in the Elks Lodge 1640, serving as Exalted Ruler and Treasurer. He also served as Treasurer and President of the Diamond K Kiwanis. Each spring he volunteered with the Ada AARP Tax Aid Group to prepare taxes for residents. In 2016, he was appointed Pontotoc County Election Board Chairman, and was active in county politics.

Survivors include wife, Anita Ardiana; daughter, Tricia Ardiana Regalado of Arlington, TX; grandchildren Elena Grace Regalado and Mark Lewis Regalado of Arlington, TX; brother David Ardiana of Blanco, TX; and many nieces, nephews, friends, and community members.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his twin brother, William Douglas Ardiana; and son-in-law, Daniel Mark Regalado.
