Robert Hotopp

Services for Robert Hughes Hotopp, 66, of Ada, formerly of Wynnewood are 1:00 p.m. Thursday at the Criswell Funeral Home Chapel, Brian Gardner will officiate. Burial will follow at Oaklawn Cemetery at Wynnewood.

Mr. Hotopp passed away Monday, December 10, 2018 at a local hospital. He was born February 4, 1952 at Texas City, TX to Walter Charles and Margaret June Hughes Hotopp. He attended Wynnewood schools and graduated from Wynnewood High School. He also attended East Central University.

Robert began working in the grocery business at the age of 15 and continued to work in it for 50 years until his retirement. Robert loved the outdoors, especially fishing, duck hunting and rock hunting. He loved traveling with his wife. He was a child at heart and the favorite playmate of all his nieces and nephews.

He married Debbie Lowden September 22, 1973.

Survivors include his wife, Debbie, of the home; an uncle, James Hotopp and wife Cindi of Ft. Worth, TX; six nieces and nephews, Amy Dao, Wichita, KS, Kirk Hotopp, Waco, TX, Karen Wawrzaszek, McLean, VA, Mark Hotopp, Belleview, WA, Jared Hotopp, Killeen, TX, and Heidi Narang, McLean, VA.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Charles Rodney Hotopp; and a sister, Cynthia Hotopp.

Bearers will be Shawn Geurin, Jimmy Dale Ralls, Jerry Bell, Johnny Taylor, David Lowden and Danny Lowden.
